Can you remember a time... when you felt abandoned, lost and alone? When you felt you had no one to rely or depend upon? When you were hurt (emotionally or physically), hungry and afraid? Well, that is how many of the cats and kittens feel when they arrive at the Cat Care Sanctuary. Thanks to the hundreds of Cat Care supporters who care about and support our endeavors, Cat Care provides a refuge and sanctuary where the kitties are cared for and loved – for the rest of their lives.
Cat Care provides a warm, secure welcome with plenty of high quality, balanced, nutritious, vitamin-packed meals coupled with a thorough medical examination including vaccinations, microchip for safety, and spay/neuter if not already performed.
At any one time, Cat Care has had up to 250 cats. Some of these cats are placed with Cat Care due to the passing of their Beloved Owners or when their Beloved "Parent" relocates to Assisted Living. The kitties come to Cat Care in varying degrees of age or medical conditions, and others are too traumatized from abuse or neglect to be placed in a regular home life, thanks to its supporters, Cat Care Sanctuary is able to provide a loving, protective refuge that these cats can rely upon for the rest of their lives. Since we are a "no kill" Sanctuary, our supporters know that if they become incapable of caring for their beloved cats, Cat Care can be named in their Will or Trust so that they need not worry about the well-being of their special felines.
Mission Statement
Cat Care Club, Inc. is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable cat sanctuary organization founded and incorporated November 5, 1951. 100% of our funding goes toward the care and upkeep of the cats and the Sanctuary. As a sanctuary, rescue, conservation and education organization dedicated to the protection and adoption of domestic cats, Cat Care Club, Inc.'s mission is to save, rehabilitate and provide sanctuary to domestic cats. We are also committed to the education of the public with respect to the global plight of animal overpopulation, and to the endorsement of the importance of disease prevention, inoculation, spay / neuter, nutrition and fitness.
The health and well-being of all the animals at the Cat Care sanctuary are of paramount importance to us. Great effort is taken to meet each animal's total needs. The Cat Care Club's long-standing commitment is to provide a long-term sanctuary environment for Kitty Parents (who are no longer able to provide a safe, loving environment for their beloved cats due to the Kitty Parent's loss of life or relocation to an assisted care facility) to place their beloved babies and know that they will be loved and well taken care of for as long as grace this earth. Cat Care is dedicated to maintaining each cat's quality of life, and providing excellent veterinary care and nourishment. The placement fee for each cat is determined with respect to an individual cat's circumstances. This fee allows us to provide excellent vet care, nourishment and upkeep for the cats.
